When I was talking to one of my besties he asked me if I had a plan on paper. At the time I lied to avoid a lecture. The truth was I was going to the gym and simply finding machines that fit the section of my body I wanted to work on. To be honest he was right, I had no structure to my work out I need a plan that way I could track my progress. I decided to give myself a 100 challenge that focused on cardio and core. One of my fitness goals that I have never accomplished is to run a 5k. To be more specific I want to run in the 5k color run that is held in Dallas every year. It’s looks so fun. I also want to participate in the annual mud run. I have always been told in order to be good runner you have to have a strong core. I have given myself 100 days to whip this core into shape……I am soliciting my prayer warriors now because I decided to really push myself. Everything is broken into 25 day increments. I will post my measurements at the end of every 25 days. I will keep you posted on the walk I have chosen to take. If you would like to join in pay no mind to the dates. That’s just when I personally started. Start at day one and work your way down. Post your progress pics on my facebook page. You can find me searching Trying to lose. If you want to post you progress more then be my guest. If I see where there are more than a few that join in I will create a private support group. Also if you choose to accept this challenge with me subscribe down below for work out tips, meal recipes, support.
Here are the guidelines I have laid for myself.
- No less than 8 glasses a water a day
- KEEP GOING NO STOPPING
- If for some reason you skip a day double up the next day if you skip two days then catch up. If you skip 3 days then start back over at the beginning of that 25 day mark (the last level up day). This will keep me accountable and keep me on track.
- Have fun with it remember it’s for you to better yourself
- Do not cheat myself complete all sets even if they have to be broken down to some in the morning and others in the afternoon. Just get it done.
